ASKAP core antennas with new PAFs
by Brett Hiscock (CASS)
The Australian SKA Pathfinder (ASKAP) is growing week by week as more Phased-Array Feeds (PAFs) arrive on site for installation and testing on the antennas. We expect 30 PAFs to be installed by the end of 2016. The remaining 6 PAFs are currently being assembled and should be ready for installation on ASKAP in September 2017, completing the PAF MkII roll-out for the full ASKAP-36 array.
