PHYSICAL-COORDINATES general subroutines
The following general subroutines belong to the category PHYSICAL-COORDINATES:

- Returns the coordinate type and units as returned by cotrans.

- The function axtype returns the type of axis, the natural
units, secondary units and the projection type.
