Hi all,

We will hold a workshop on 17th and 18th of November 2003, in Sydney,
to bring together the existing and future Aus-VO members, international
representatives of worldwide virtual observatory (VO) projects, and
national expertise in the enabling technologies, to discuss progress so
far, planned and future projects, and participation in the international
VO arena.

The meeting web pages are now up at the following location, reachable
from the front www.aus-vo.org web page:

This is an advance notice to all on the ivo_at_atnf.csiro.au mailing
list so that you can set aside these dates for attendance.

You *cannot* register yet. Registration will open in a week or so's
time, and will be advised by an email to this list and to members of
the ASA.

The participant list, abstracts and program are obviously at this
stage placeholders only.

The SOC and LOC are still being arranged as you will see on the web
page.

There will be a general call for contributed talks and/or demos,
once the SOC is formed and the invited speaker list is finalised.

If you have a strong desire to participate in the organisation of
the workshop, please let me know by email to barnesd_at_unimelb.edu.au.
