WP2 Annual Meeting - PAFSKA Breakout session

First announcement and open invite to

PAFSKA discussion
Monday 17 October, 1-5pm
Venue: Chancellors Hotel, Manchester

Please note that this meeting is open to all interested, therefore please feel free to share this invite.
Please let me know if you will attend, and forward any proposed contributions. Please keep the 'updates' reasonably brief (about 15mins) as there is a lot to discuss.

1pm Introductions
1.10pm PAF updates - latest news from
                ASTRON
                CSIRO
                DRAO
                UManchester
                Contributions from other groups tba
2.30pm PAF review & plans -
Gaps (overall issues)
Next steps for PAF development (e.g. choice of receiver options , optics analysis, dish options... etc to progress - discuss only)
4.30pm Wide field astronomy SKA Science
                - SKA science drivers, and how these will ensure flexibility of dish-array systems (to accommodate PAFs in future)
                - what will make PAFs attractive to the science community (DRM cases?)
5pm wrap up/what's next (to be continued over a drink or 2 ...)
