Hobart Fibre optic application successful!

Dear All,
Good news - the ARC LIEF application to fund the fibre tail from
Mt Pleasant to the University of Tasmania was successful and has received
$402K in funds! Thanks to all those involved in writing the application
and helpping to obtain the matching funds. With a bit of luck by this
time next year we will be able to do "real-time" fringe checking to hobart
on a timescale of seconds-minutes rather than many hours as it is with the
present setup.
