Hi all,
Phil and Roopesh are happy to go single-polarization on their 4.8GHz
observations (V180a, v131aw), to work-around the failure of the B-channel
on the 4.8GHz Rx here at Parkes.
I'm assuming Richard will also be happy with this (v156g1).
Does anyone else (Hobart, Ceduna, Hart) anticipate a problem with this?
I'm assuming everyone can identify unambiguously which polar is which
at 4.8GHz, from long practice with VSOP.
Does anyone have a preference for which polarization? My suggestion is to
make it LCP only, consistent with VSOP practice (and also to use the
standard VSOP-type DAS profiles).
Cheers,
John R
