Hi All,
Here we found that Parks suffered serious polarization leakage. We saw
50% of
LCP flux level in RCP for the main target source (G345-0.2) while Mopra
spectrum
seemed to be dominated by LCP flux which is consistent with the
published result.
We stopped the dish at 20:10 and JR changed and adjusted cables by try
and error.
The problem was finally fixed at 21:25 and we now have nice spectrum on
the target
(only about 5 percent flux in RCP w.r.t LCP).
Hope other telescopes see all correct spectrum as well.
Cheers,
Shinji.
