Hi John,
I noticed nothing at 5 am when I checked and the sky was clear. James
noticed nothing overnight when it was cloudy.

I saw a green southern glow about a week ago, shortly after dark. I
didn't notice anything last night.

Regards,
Brett.

Brett,

Brett Dawson here at Parkes reports strong Auroral activity overnight,
strong enough to be visible from Parkes. What was it like in Hobart?

The last time we had Auroral activity during a VLBI observation (Nov 98)
it played havoc with the Hobart L & S-band phases.

Cheers,
John R
