Brett: best access from Parkes would be the CIDR;
130.155.180.0/22
or if your IT security folks are squeamish;
130.155.181.0/24
would be OK in the short term. (But I suspect will need revisiting once
our broadband link arrives).
I guess ssh (port 22) would cover most bases. I still find telnet and ftp
useful but no doubt asking for those would be ticklish.
Nominating individual machines (addresses) tends to be restrictive and a
long-term maintenance overhead best avoided, if possible.
For Narrabri;
130.155.176.0/22 would cover all bases
and for Mopra;
130.155.184.0/23 .
Cheers,
John R
