Re: Proposed change to March LBA Session

Jim,

Sorry to be a wet blanket, but I do not see that I can change the main
ATCA VLBI period to 14-23 March. This would require a major
rescheduling exercise. The timing of the 6C array, and handling C1465
(which requires two observing sessions 19 days apart - its a periodic
source) would be difficult problems in the rescheduling.

The ATCA schedule is like concrete: once it is laid down, it tends to
set solid and be hard to change.

I can change the schedule to put a second 12h VLBI session starting 23
March 1300 UT (1030 UT would be more difficult). But this would be in
the 6C array. If the weather is half reasonable, that should be OK at
13cm.

Cheers
Bob
