Research Fellowships

The 2007 round of the Curtin Research Fellowships is now open for
applications. The scheme will support up to 15 appointments in
research only and research and teaching streams (research and teaching
stream comes with possible tenured appointment at end of Fellowship),
across the University. Applications close on October 31, 2007 and
further information (including application form and guidelines) is

Curtin is currently building a new radio astronomy group, within the
Department of Imaging and Applied Physics. This group will
concentrate on VLBI/e-VLBI for astronomy and geophysics, ASKAP/SKA
science and technology development, as well as participation in other
experiments to be deployed to the WA candidate SKA site, including the
MWA, PAPER, and CORE. Further information on the activities and
resources available to this new group can be obtained from Prof.
Steven Tingay (s.tingay_at_ivec.<!--nospam-->org).

Researchers in any relevent field of radio astronomy, or related field
of theoretical physics, are encouraged to apply to the Curtin Research
Fellowship scheme, in order to join the new radio astronomy group at
Curtin.
