Postdoctoral Research Fellow in X-ray binary jets
Applications are invited for a three-year postdoctoral position
working in the area of X-ray binary jets. The position is funded from
an ARC Discovery Project, and will be hosted at the Curtin University
node of the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR),
based in Perth, Australia. The successful applicant will work with
Dr. James Miller-Jones and Dr. Roberto Soria, using multi-wavelength
observations to investigate the coupling between the accretion and
ejection phenomena around accreting stellar-mass compact objects.
Applicants must have a recent Ph.D. in astronomy or a related field,
and have a proven track record of performing and publishing research.
The closing date for applications is 5pm AWST on Monday 13th February,
