RE: Radio Astron VLBI

I have this morning sent test tones.

I see peaks in bands where I expect.

Tone: 1660GHz, I see in Chls 2 & 4 in centre of band
Tone: 1676GHz, I see in Chls 1 & 3 in centre of band

There appears to be some leakage integrating for ~10s:

For 1660 I see a small peak in Chl 1
For 1676 I see a v.small peak in Chl 2

I have a tone of ~8db. Drop the tone to 5db and no leakage/peak in other bands as above for 10s integration.

Hi guys,

It occurred to me that I could have added a file grab for fringe check to the main schedule as well.. I haven't done this but possibly could still do it for Hart tonight. Especially as Hart has one (ten minute) scan with ATCA and Hobart at 18:50, then a long gap before the spacecraft segment at 19:20 UT.

Anyway let's see how the fringe test goes I guess..

Cheers,

Hayley

Hi Chris

Sorry gusy, I may have screwed up the fringe check at Hart - I
mistakenly loaded the main schedule (rather than the fringe-check one),
and then noticed that nothing was happening for 6 hours
so I figured it out and loaded the fringe-check schedule. However,
I realize now that I never loaded the fringe check *proc* file,
so the Hart setup may have been wrong.

I did load the right procedure & schedule for the actual run later
on yesterday.
