Position Vacant: Industrial Electrician, Parkes Observatory

CSIRO Astronomy and Space Science has a position available for an experienced Industrial Electrician, at the Parkes Observatory in New South Wales.

This is a great opportunity to apply industrial control and monitoring experience in an interesting and dynamic science support role. You will be part of a dedicated team, supporting significant developments in Australian radio astronomy science combined with the benefits of living in a vibrant regional community.

As a Senior Industrial and Drives Technician you will work as part of an engineering team. Your key role will be to ensure the safe, consistent and reliable operation of site electrical and related drive systems infrastructure, including the provision of timely engineering advice about the state of these systems.
