CSIRO Radio Astronomy Image Archive: Released!

We are pleased to announce the release of the CSIRO Radio Astronomy Image Archive on the internet. This archive includes over 15,000 images that were recorded over 53 years, from 1943 to 1996. Almost of all of the images were taken by CSIRO photographers who were employed by the CSIRO Division of Radiophysics and the Australia Telescope National Facility.

The archive was released as a public facility on 25 August 2012, at the IAU General Assembly in Beijing. To access the images see the link below.

We welcome comments and information on the images. These can be entered using the discussion box which can be seen using the Image Preview tool. Please provide your name with comments.
