CSIRO Square Kilometre Array Chief Scientist

We are currently advertising for a Square Kilometre Array Chief Scientist.
The successful appointee will be located in Perth, Western Australia and will:

Provide strategic advice to CSIRO on SKA science and related activities, with strong engagement with the Australian government and the international SKA Organisation.

Facilitate Australian involvement in SKA science and improve collaborations between Australian and other SKA member scientists

Provide scientific overview of the ASKAP project and contribute to the strategic planning of integrating ASKAP into SKA Phase 1.

Promote CASS science to external bodies by representing CSIRO on appropriate national and international committees.

Provide reporting and promotion of CASS within CSIRO.

Publish high-impact papers and promote CASS science through high-profile conference presentations.
