Bookings are now open for the 2015 "Astronomy from the Ground Up!" teacher workshop at Parkes Observatory, 15 -17 May 2015.

The workshop is suitable for all science teachers and primary teachers. It includes practical sessions on the effective teaching of astronomy in the classroom, talks by professional astronomers on some of the latest research, how to run a viewing night plus a tour of the Dish.

An extensive resource pack is supplied. Teacher receive international accreditation through the Galileo Teacher Training program too.
