Bolton Fellowship - Wide-field radio astronomy

CSIRO Astronomy and Space Science (CASS) invites applications for the 2015 Bolton Fellowship.

The Bolton Fellowship is Australia's longest standing prize fellowship and provides an outstanding opportunity for postdoctoral astronomy research in Australia. This Bolton Fellowship is targeted towards wide-field radio astronomy that enables new and cutting-edge science from the world's fastest and most data intensive radio telescope array, the 36-dish Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder (ASKAP).

The Bolton Fellow will work as part of the ASKAP scientific commissioning team and pursue independent research that best demonstrates the Early Science capabilities of ASKAP. The Bolton Fellow will be based at the CASS office in Perth, Western Australia and is expected to work closely with CASS staff in Sydney.

Please see the link below for more details.

Applications close 11:59 pm AEST Friday, November 6, 2015.
