The ATNF is seeking a highly motivated Engineer to design and develop firmware / HDL for FPGA- field programmable gate arrays and other digital systems intended for use in real-time high-speed data processing sub-systems for astronomical radio telescopes. This person will work as a key member of a team based in Marsfield to develop a new generation radio telescope for construction in the mid- west of Western Australia. Applications close 9 July 2006.
