AbstractThe interactions of the Magellanic Clouds and High Velocity Clouds with the Milky Way allows us to test for hierarchical clustering scenarios in the local Universe. In particular, we perform mock observations on typical cosmological disk simulations to show that they are capable of forming HVCs with similar properties to those observed in the MW.
