****** ATCA Science Day ******
All astronomers are invited to come and give science talks about the important projects they envisage doing with the Australia Telescope Compact Aarray (ATCA) in the next 5 years and beyond.
The motivation for this meeting is to provide an overview of the science strengths of the ATCA, both now and in the ASKAP era, in a global context as perceived by our user community. The need for doing this comes from the possible future pressures on the ATNF operating budget. If difficult choices become necessary in the coming years, it will be critical to preserve (and extend) the capabilities in those areas where the ATCA can excel.
Please email your talk to firstname.lastname@example.org (subject: ATCA Science Day - your name) or - if that fails - to the Astrophysics Group secretary Jennifer.Lee@csiro.au .
