Observations

All the galaxies were observed through the TAURUS camera on the 4.2m William Herschel Telescope, La Palma. Calibrated photometric sub-arcsec images in appropriately red-shifted Htex2html_wrap_inline118 were obtained by subtracting a nearby continuum image from that through the Htex2html_wrap_inline118 filter. Absolute fluxes were determined via distances derived using Htex2html_wrap_inline126 = 75 km stex2html_wrap_inline128 Mpctex2html_wrap_inline128.
