The Local Volume HI Survey (LVHIS)

LVHIS - ATCA Observing Details:

LVHIS Catalog: The file lvhis.cat (in at$cat on leon) contains the relevant HIPASS Jxxxx-yy names and J2000 pointing positions (offset by 1' to the south of the galaxy center). These should be used in sched (defcat lvhis; cat Jxxxx-yy); please check for accuracy !!
Schedule Files: The setup file is lvhis_setup (PKS 1934-638, 0823-500, and 0407-658 at 1418/1384 MHz). The individual schedule files are named lvhis_jxxxx-yy (source + phase calibrator). The correlator configuration is full_8_512-128.
Calibrators; replace calibrator sources that are confused or resolved.
RPFITS Files: Our working directory in Narrabri is /DATA/KAPUTAR_2/LVHIS; for each observed galaxy a directory exists with subdirectories for the arrays, including data reduction scripts, notes, and results. Processing on kaputar is very fast.
