CSIRO animation: how PAFs help us look back in time
ASKAP's Phased-Array Feeds (PAFs) are a marvel of engineering, recognised by numerous awards, most recently by the CSIRO 2015 Chairman's medal. Using PAFs on the Australian SKA Pathfinder (ASKAP; 36 x 12-m dishes), will allow us to form 36 beams which together provide a field of view of 30 square degrees, making ASKAP a fast survey machine. - For more information see the recent ASKAP News.
