HOPS - the H2O Southern Galactic Plane Survey
by Andrew Walsh (Curtin University)
HOPS used the 22-m Mopra telescope to survey multiple spectral lines across the inner Galaxy. This image shows water masers as bright spots. Over 500 were identified, most of which are new water maser detections.

Chromoscope is a useful web tool that displays multiple datasets (such as those from HOPS) as zoomable images. You can also slide between the different dataset and overlay them.
