George Bekiaris recently submitted his PhD at Swinburne University of Technology and is now a postdoc at CSIRO Astronomy and
Space Science (CASS) working with Bärbel Koribalski on WALLABY. His research lies at the cross section of astronomy and computer science. George is particularly interested in high-performance scientific computing, astronomical software development, and he enjoys solving Big Data problems in astronomy. When George is not working or coding for fun, you may find him at the park strumming his ukulele.
