Radio Astronomy School
The CASS Radio Astronomy School is currently underway at the Australia Telescope Compact Array, near Narrabri. A bumper crop of students has signed up for a week-long program of lectures and tutorials, including the chance to get some hands-on experience with the telescope. The group photo above, taken by Emil Lenc, shows the students, lecturers and tutors, with three of the 22m antennas (as the array in one of its more compact configurations) in the background.
