First signs of the earliest stars
There has been quite a bit of media coverage about the reported detection of signals from the earliest stars in the Universe using the EDGES antenna at the Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory (MRO) in Western Australia. In case you missed it, there's a CSIRO blog covering the main points.
