As described in
an ADAP last week,
this year's Stargazing Live programs included an attempt to break
the world record for Stargazing.
The existing record was set by the Australian National University (ANU) in 2015, with 7,960 people
participating.
The Stargazing attempt has raised the bar to a new level,
with more than 40,000 people having simultaneously observed the moon through
telescopes for 10 minutes.
