The ATNF runs a Distinguished Visitor (DV) program under which some financial and logistical support is available to facilitate working visits by leading researchers. Visitors are normally the guest of a member of the ATNF staff with whom they will be working and may be located at any of the ATNF sites. Visitors are expected to deliver at least one colloquium during their stay at the ATNF.
Visits should normally be no shorter than a month and could last for up to one year. Support provided could be purely logistical (e.g. office space, computing) or include various levels of financial support.
