Travel to Europe on May 2009
Departing from Sydney on Thursday 7 May 2009. Coming back on Sunday 31 May 2009. Some details of this travel are:
8 May - 10 May: Weekend on Córdoba (Spain) with the family and Bärbel.
11 May - 15 May: International conference in Granada (Spain). Galaxies in Isolation: exploring Nature vs. Nurture. I gave the talk The Environment of nearby Blue Compact Dwarf Galaxies and chaired a session.
16 May - 23 May: Talks in Andalucía (Spain) because of the International Year of Astronomy 2009.
24 May - 29 May: International Conference in Bonn (Germany), Tidal Dwarf Galaxies: Ghosts from structure formation. I gave the talk Tidal tails and TDG candidates in Blue Compact Dwarf Galaxies.

7 June - 9 June: Weekend on Munich, Germany (thanks Mercedes and Ban!)
9 June - 13 June: Attending the international workshop on Gas and stars in galaxies: a multiwavelength 3D perspective on Garching (Germany). I´m giving a talk about the LVHIS project. PPS with this presentation.
14 June - 15 June: Weekend on Córdoba (Spain) with my family.
16 June - 19 June: Visiting the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía (Granada, Spain).
20 June - 21 June: Weekend on Córdoba (Spain) with my family.
22 June - 28 June: Attending the international conference on The Cosmic Oddyssey of the Elements, in Aegina (Greece). Give a talk about Nitrogen excess in starburst galaxies: chemical enrichment via winds of Wolf-Rayet stars?. PPS with this presentation.
29 June - 3 July: Holidays in Athens and surroundings.
