The prize is entirely funded by donations, which are tax-deductible in Australia, and the financial management is kindly provided by the Astronomical Society of Australia. Payment may be made by either cheque or credit card.

Cheques should be made out to "Foundation for the Advancement of Astronomy". Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard and Australian Bankcard only) should provide the card number, expiry date, and the name on the card. These details may be sent by fax or email. Please make it clear on your fax or email that your donation is for the Charlene Heisler Prize. You will then receive a receipt which will include the Australian Tax Office gift-deductible number.
