I work for CSIRO in the Astronomy and Space Science (CASS) division in Epping, New South Wales. I am Project Lead for computing for the Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder. In addition, I am Research Program Leader for Software Development at CASS. As well as these duties, I actively pursue multiple lines of research, and am co-supervising three PhD students. I’m probably best known for my work on data processing for radio synthesis telescopes, on which I’ve been working since 1976.
My current major professional goals are to see ASKAP and the Square Kilometre Array start producing great science.
