The experiment is a standard style observation of the 12.2 GHz methanol maser 335.79+0.17, so it is long scans on the program source, with a fringe finder scans every few hours. Schedules for v034b2 are available via anonymous FTP in ftp://kerr.phys.utas.edu.au/vlbobs/incoming. There is an SCHED command file and catalogue for AT/Mopra (untested) and snap/procedure files for Hobart (ho), Parkes (pk) and Hart (hh). Times : 1999 353/2300 - 354/0830 Hobart, AT, Mopra 353/2300 - 354/0600 Parkes 354/0230 - 354/0830 Hart Sky frequency : 12179-12183 MHz (4 MHz, 12181.0 Centre frequency) DAS : profile = mp4s_f.pro (for non-inverted input at 96 MHz) or at4s_n.pro jumper = IN! (except Hart) S2 mode : 8x4-2 (2 tapes recording), LP (Everywhere except Hart) 8x2-2 (1 tape recording), LP (Hart) Polarization : RCP,LCP (Hart LCP only) Tapes : 3x2, (Hart 2x1) Only recording in LP, so can use Maxwell. group 0 : 353/2300 - 354/0300 group 1 : 354/0300 - 354/0700 group 2 : 354/0700 - 354/0830 Schedules : v034b2.snp - PCFS snap file v034b2.com - A command file for SCHED (untested) v034b.cat - A catalogue file for SCHED (format might not be quite right). Please don't make system temperature measurements more frequently than once every half hour, except if it doesn't interfer with the recorded data. Amplitude calibration can be done more accurately from the autocorrelations on the maser source anyway. Observations of 3C273B, 1549-790 and 1921-293 have been included for fringe finding - if problems occur, please try and ensure that your antenna participates in at least one of these scans.
