IAU Symposium 242
Astrophysical masers and their environments
Alice Springs, 12 to 16 March 2007
Thank you to everyone who came to Alice Springs and took part in a great meeting. This website will remain in place until the conference proceedings have been published.
IAU symposium 242 on Astrophysical masers and their environments was held from 12 to 16 March 2007 at the Alice Springs Convention Centre in Alice Springs, central Australia.
This meeting was the third international symposium on astronomical masers. The first was held in Virginia, US in March 1992, while the second was held in Brazil as an IAU Symposium in March 2001. The meeting brought together observational astronomers and theoreticians who study masers and their surrounding environments and addressed a broad range of astrophysical problems.
