Conference Proceedings
The conference proceedings for IAU Symposium 242 will be published by Cambridge University Press (CUP). The cost of the proceedings (USD 78, per book) is included in the conference registration fee for participants. Each participant will automatically be sent a copy of the proceedings.
Deadlines for manuscripts
The IAU requires that all authors provide their manuscripts before (or at) the meeting. A further four weeks will be allowed by the editors, after the meeting, for final revisions to manuscripts.
The deadline for final versions of the manuscripts is 16 April 2007.
Page limits
The page limits for manuscripts are:
- Reviews: 10 pages
- Invited papers: 8 pages
- Contributed papers: 5 pages
- Poster papers: 2 pages
Instructions for authors
Manuscripts must be prepared in latex following the instructions and style files for authors provided by the CUP.
To get started, see the file "README.txt".
Manuscript submission
To submit your manuscript send all of the individual text (.tex) and image (.eps) files, together with a postcript file for the full paper, by email to the editors: Jessica Chapman (Jessica.Chapman@csiro.au) and Willem Baan (Baan@astron.nl).
All contributors must also complete the Consent to Publish and Transfer of Copyright form (pdf). Please return this by FAX to Jessica at the fax number +61 2 9372 4105.
