We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled postdoctoral researcher to work with OCE Science Leader Dr. B. Koribalski and her team on current and future extragalactic HI surveys. This is a 3-year post-doctoral appointment based at the ATNF Headquarters of CSIRO Astronomy & Space Science (CASS) in Sydney, Australia. The team will be part of our vibrant Astrophysics Group, supplemented by co-supervised students and visiting researchers. With engineering and soon science commissioning of the Australian SKA Pathfinder (ASKAP) progressing well, this is an exciting time to be at CASS and play a leading role in the extragalactic HI Survey, WALLABY.

Macquarie University is seeking to appoint an outstanding early career research astronomer/astrophysicist in the area of radio astronomy. This position offers excellent opportunities to develop strong collaborative research projects between MQ and CASS.
This position offers an opportunity to combine academic life at a dynamic and growing University department with the research environment of the leading radio astronomy group in Australia. CASS and the University are located within 2km of one another in a leafy suburb of Sydney.
We are seeking candidates with a proven record of ongoing research and publication with the capacity to perform high-quality teaching, attract and supervise research students, and to attract research funding. Experience with radio astronomy and its techniques, and experience with single dish and/or interferometers is also essential.
The position is available on a full-time, continuing basis from January 2014. The joint aspect of the position with CASS covers an initial period of 4 years with renewal subject to availability of funding.
