First observation: PSR B0628-28

First observation: PSR B0628-28

PSR B0628-28 was subsequently observed with various configurations. We recorded using 2048x2048 channels/bins and seemed to record data successfully (according to spd). However, these files don't seem to record correctly using pav?

1 hour integration on PSR J0613-0200:

Vela at 10cm

PSR J0835-4510 with 2048x2048 channels at 10cm. The plot on spd seemed okay and so we probably have a problem with the FITS file.

Creating a schedule

Schedules are produced using the same format as for the wide-band correlator (WBCORR). In brief:
log on to e.g. pavo using the pulsar account
  >cd /psr1/wbcorr

Select suitable configuration files for each pulsar. The table provides the maximum pulsar spin-period (in milliseconds) for every possible combination of number of channels and phase bins. The number in parentheses is the value for only 2-channel output (instead of the standard 4 channel).
