Hardware at the Parkes Telescope

Testing the hardware project.
The current observing hardware at Parkes includes the prototype pulsar digital filterbank, the wideband correlator and CPSR2.

Future hardware includes the full digital filterbank system and APSR.

Testing PDFB2

After the installation of the second prototype DFB, tests were carried out at Parkes aimed towards identifying problems within the hardware. To help identify issues, simultaneous observations were taken using PDFB1, PDFB1.5 (PDFB2), and CPSR2.
