The ATNF will provide the travel and accommodation expenses for the trip. Accommodation has been booked and will be at the on-site lodge at the Observatory. The rooms are fully catered and there is no need to bring sheets, sleeping bags etc.
If you have any medical concerns or special dietary needs, please let the Narrabri staff know by contacting Joanne Houldsworth (Joanne.Houldsworth@csiro.au, x4049).
Travel to Narrabri to is by train. On 15 January the train to Narrabri departs from Strathfield at 10:38 am (or 10:16 from Central), arriving into Narrabri at 5:27 pm. On 19 Jan the return train leaves Narrabri at 9:22 am and arrives back at Strathfield at 4:45 pm. (Note, these times are to be confirmed. Your tickets will contain up-to-date details). You may check the Countrylink website for more details. The train passes through some very beautiful countryside, especially in the Hawkesbury region. Rob will book your train tickets. Travel from Narrabri Station to the site will be by taxis that will be arranged for you. ATNF covers all these travel costs.
