ASKAP Early Science Community Workshop 2015
Thursday, 8 October 2015
ATNF Headquarters, Marsfield
09:30 - 16:30
The focus of the ASKAP Community Workshop 2015 is ASKAP Early Science. This workshop will explore the scope, implementation and expected science outcomes of the ASKAP early science project, which is due to begin in 2016.
Any astronomer interested in ASKAP early science is encouraged to attend, since broad participation in early science will lead to the highest possible scientific impact.
CSIRO ASKAP staff will give updates on the scope and delivery plan for ASKAP early science. Presentations will follow from representatives of each science area currently engaged with the ASKAP early science forum – these presentations will be solicited by email through the early science forum exploder.
Outcomes from the Workshop
A list of workshop outcomes is now available from the ASKAP Project Scientist.
SKA Key Science Projects discussion
There will also be informal meeting held on Friday 9 October to provide the community with a summary of discussions held during the recent SKA Key Science Program (KSP) workshop in Stockholm. For more information, please contact Jill Rathborne.
