Correlation notes

Stations: ATCA, Mopra, Hobart, Ceduna, Parkes

ATCA reference station is W104 (CA04).

  • Continuum - 256 spectral channels per 16 MHz subband.
  • Integration time: 2 seconds for all files. No cross-pols.
  • Masers: 2048 channels across 2 MHz - 6667-6669 MHz. (Correlated IF4 with 16384 channels, then RPFitsChannelExtractor <inputfilename> <outputfilename> 2048 11264)

Note: A priori Tsys (SEFD) is different for ATCA for the dual-pol (higher freq) than for the 4 IF, single pol mode. I have not changed the default factors this time (v255b used nominal SEFD=70 Jy for all). The nominal SEFD applied for ATCA is listed for each file below.

Problems: On loading Mopra disk set at Curtin, file system not recognised. fsck determined an ext3 file system with journalling badly corrupted/lost. Only 5 minutes of Mopra data from v255c (UT range 2246-2251) were recovered.
