by George Hobbs (CASS)
Today’s image shows the discovery plots for two new millisecond pulsars in the globular cluster 47 Tucanane: PSRs J0024-7204aa (the fastest known pulsar in the cluster) and J0024-7204ab. These pulsars were found by reprocessing more than 1,000 hours of archival Parkes observations. The new pulsars are described in Pan et al. (2016) , which includes CASS’ George Hobbs and is now accepted for publication by MNRAS.
