The Governor-General of Australia, Her Excellency the Honourable Sam Mostyn AC, has celebrated National Science Week by hosting Jessica Dempsey, Director-General of the SKAO, Naomi McClure-Griffiths, SKAO Chief Scientist, and Sarah Pearce, SKA-Low Telescope Director, at Government House in Canberra. The SKAO team introduced the SKAO to the Governor-General and described the discoveries it could unlock for generations to come. The Governor-General then turned interviewer with the results shared on social media.
