Recent ADAPs have showcased the spectacular wildflowers seen this year in the mid-west of Western Australia. Further evidence comes from a NASA Image of the Day last week. The images above, captured with the OLI (Operational Land Imager) on the NASA-USGS Landsat 8 satellite, compare the more verdant landscape of late August 2026 (right) with a similar time in 2025 (left), when it was drier. The images show a section of Inyarrimanha Ilgari Bundara, the CSIRO Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory, home to the ASKAP telescope, the Murchison Widefield Array, and where the SKA-Low telescope is being constructed.
