DiFX Workshop 2026

The 17th DiFX Users and Developers Meeting will take place 9-13 November 2026 in Perth, Western Australia, hosted by CSIRO.

Following the traditional format, a Users Meeting aimed at the broader DiFX community will take place on Monday and Tuesday. This will be followed by a Developers Meeting on Wednesday through Friday primarily aimed at those actively contributing to DiFX. The Users Meeting is a great opportunity to influence the development work that will take place during the Developers Meeting.

We are pleased to also offer a remote participation option, the details of which will be provided upon registration.

If you wish to make a presentation at the Users Meeting, or would like to suggest a topic for the Developers Meeting, please add an abstract or topic using the link below.

Location

Accommodation

Attendees should arrange their own accommodation. Please do so as early as possible to ensure availability. The venue is approximately 8 km from Perth CBD where there are many hotels and is convenient to public transport from the CBD. The Nesuto and Metro hotels are walkable (approx. 20- and 35-minutes walk respectively).

Transport

Information about public transport in Perth is available from the Transperth website. Bus and train fares can be paid for by tapping on/off with a credit card. Google maps is convenient for navigating on public transport.
