"[duchamp-user]" [Duchamp] New release: 1.1.11

Gday all,

This email announces the release of an updated version of the Duchamp source finder.

Duchamp 1.1.11 has a few (relatively minor) bug fixes and some improvements to the speed of some calculations. The main bug fixes include:
* text files of spectra not being written when PGPlot was disabled
* calculation of integrated fluxes when the beam information is not specified
* problems with the statistics subsection ("StatSec") not aligning with the provided image subsection
* mismatches between the type of smoothing requested and the dimension of the image

Additionally, improvements have been made to the code base that speed up certain parts of the analysis considerably (particularly in the merging stages). The full list and description of fixes and improvements can be found in the CHANGES file in the distribution.

The new code is available for download from the usual place:
http://www.atnf.csiro.au/people/Matthew.Whiting/Duchamp/downloads.php
and any feedback (which is always welcome!) should be done via the Trac wiki:
http://svn.atnf.csiro.au/trac/duchamp/newticket
Note that the feedback can be either bug reports or suggested improvements.

Additionally, I would welcome any references of papers that make use of Duchamp. I plan to submit a paper on Duchamp and some testing of it very soon, and would like to refer to a few already-published results that have made use of it. It may also be good to keep a list of references on the webpage (if there are no objections!).

I hope Duchamp continues to be of use to many of you.
Happy finding!

Matt Whiting.
