Hi everyone,

I've been away last two days so haven't been able
to update you on the emails I sent to everyone
at some ridiculously late hour on Monday...

Final programmme has been sent to all
participants - attached below, although of
course you all got one as registered particpants.

Local stuff is well in hand, and I am dealing
with the overbooking at St Mary's - not at all
serious.

Talks: I've encouraged (but not required)
speakers to email their e-talks to UMelb
beforehand to streamline the tech stuff,
taking a leaf out of the ATNF manual...!

Funding: I did not receive emails from everyone,
but Mark felt strongly it should be targeted
at needy people. So I modified Tony's and my
first draft of the funding letter slightly -
all speakers are still eligible (except SOC,
of course), but now they need to email us
to apply. A bit more admin for UMelb, but we
can handle it. No guarantee that rich people
won't still apply, of course, but this is the
best we can do short of auditing their books!!!

PS. I've been flooded with emails from people
attending - about various odds and ends -
will keep you up-to-date as I and the UMelb
students work through them, but we should be
able to deal with 99% of them locally.
