Abstract

Several new interferometric radio surveys including PAPER,
CHIME, Tianlai, GMRT will be surveying the sky in passive drift scan mode. We present new analysis and calibration techniques, and show how this strategy results in a pure beam at low computational cost with minimal polarization and other mode mixing. We will discuss some scientific applications of these developments, including 21cm intensity mapping, pulsar searches, transient monitoring, magnetic fields.
