AbstractAbstract: This presentation will introduce the 64-dish MeerKAT radio telescope, which is being designed, constructed and commissioned by SKA South Africa. It will describe the key technical specifications of the system and its major components, the current status of the project, and the timeline going forward. It will also show some photos of the site visit that was conducted by SKA Office staff during the week of 17 February. |
